SDA Awarded Prime Contract on Justice Department’s $500M Data Blanket Purchase Agreement

OCTOBER 2019 - Systems Development and Analysis, Inc. (SDA) has been selected as one of the prime contractors by the Justice Management Division on a Small Business Set-Aside multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreement to provide data analytics and analysis solutions to the Justice Department.

The multiple award BPA has a 5-year term, and DOJ estimates it will buy $500 million in solutions and services. The contract will leverage SDA’s core competencies in big data analytics, advanced analytics and systems lifecycle development, as well as our over three decades of applying artificial intelligence techniques—including a rule-based expert system, natural language and statistical approaches to building risk-assessment and targeting systems.

SDA will apply its data analytics solutions to support DOJ investigations. Building on its Centrifuge Analytics data visualization product and expertise in managing extremely large structured and unstructured data sets, SDA will deliver enterprise level and focused solutions to support DOJ with criminal, civil, national security, foreign policy and economic law investigations.

Williams added that along with SDA’s solutions, the company is offering DOJ the combined products and services of BlueTech, Centrifuge Analytics, (A Culmen International Technology Solution), and UNISYS Federal (Now SAIC).

 

IRS awards $137M Data Analytics and Innovation Support (DAIS) Blanket Purchase Agreement to SDA as part of Noblis Team

NOVEMBER 2018 – Noblis was awarded a Prime position on this 5-year multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) out of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to provide a range of consulting services to strategically improve tax compliance and internal operations using research, data-driven analysis, models and project/business management to inform decision making. 

 

The unrestricted program areas include:

• Authentication, Identity Theft and Fraud Protection

• Compliance Program Analytics and Process Improvement

• Examination Selection and Process Analytics Support

• Taxpayer Behavioral Studies

• Identify Emerging Analytic Techniques

SDA awarded GSA modification to resell Centrifuge Analytics Software to Federal Customers

NOVEMBER 2018 - Systems Development and Analysis, Inc. (SDA) expanded its GSA Schedule service offerings with the addition of SIN 132-32 and 132-33 to support reselling Centrifuge Analytics software.  

 

SDA initiated, developed, and incubated Centrifuge Analytics software prior to spinning it off to Centrifuge Systems, Inc.(CSI) (subsequently acquired by Culmen International). Centrifuge Analytics is a big data discovery technology that provides the scalability and flexibility to connect, visualize and collaborate without complex data integration, costly services or a data science degree. It combines sophisticated data connectivity, link-analysis, interactive visualizations and collaboration features to dramatically simplify data understanding on a big data level. It's tightly integrated suite of visualization tools enable users to perform comprehensive analyses on combined data from one or multiple data sources, including structured flat files, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Access databases, XML, Web services, and leading enterprise-level relational databases. 

 

SDA’s former President, Casey Henderson, is the founder of Centrifuge Analytics software and former Chief Technology Officer of CSI.  This software was born out of the needs of the US Intelligence Community (IC) and was designed to address some of the most demanding and mission critical applications in the world including: national security, cyber security, financial analysis, border protection and many more.

 

SDA awarded subcontract supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Targeting and Analysis Systems Program Directorate (TASPD)

MAY 2018 - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), has selected the Unisys Team to develop, operate and manage systems used for risk assessments of people and cargo entering the U.S. by the agency's Targeting and Analysis Systems Program Directorate (TASPD).

 

The time and materials task order, awarded under the U.S. General Services Administration's Alliant Government-Wide Acquisition Contract, spans 5.5 years and features a six-month base period followed by 10 six-month option periods. All options are exercisable at the discretion of the government. This work will support TASPD's Office of Information and Technology, which provides technology solutions that support CBP inspection and enforcement activities to help the agency protect U.S. borders and facilitate legitimate trade and travel.  Read Unisys press release here

SDA Appoints Greg Williams Chief Executive Officer and President

SEPTEMBER 2017 - Systems Development and Analysis, Inc. (SDA), a 32-year leader in development and design of data driven technology solutions supporting intelligence, defense and homeland security clients, announced today it has appointed Greg Williams to be the company’s Chief Executive Officer and President.

 

“Our decision to appoint Greg Williams to lead the SDA team gives us added focus on growth and provides us with additional leadership to serve our customers and expand our services,” said Ed Neham, Chairman of the Board at SDA.

 

Williams will focus on the company’s growth, to create, communicate and execute strategic initiatives and lead the development and implementation of revenue-generating strategies. Williams has spent his career in executive positions of large and small organizations that provide strategic and IT services to the Defense, Homeland Security and Intelligence Community. In these successful roles, Williams responsibilities have included leading national business operations, achieving rapid sales growth, raising business capital, and assessing/executing M&A activities. Williams began his career as an officer in the U.S. Navy after graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy.
